Ulf Moritz
Wallpaper
A self-styled
"Champion of textile designers", Ulf Moritz was recently named
the Designer of the Year. His design work features in collections at the
Cooper-Hewitt Museum in New York, in Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam and
in the Tilburg Textile Museum. Moritz set up his own design studio in
1970 and in this capacity, alongside his position as professor for textile
design at the Eindhoven Design Academy, he has had a decisive influence
on fabric design.
His work
has inspired others and opened up new avenues in interior design. Moritz
is an imaginative and unorthodox multi-talent who leaves nothing to
chance. His portfolio naturally extends to fabrics, curtains, wallpapers,
carpets and all kinds of materials and accessories.
